If that address on the door is "101" then you could restrict the search to the very first lot on various roads.

my house has been on this lot since 1982.. moved from no one knows.....

It looks like, from the old Sanborn maps, you are right - nicely done! The house on the lot now is certainly ~1920s-1930s vintage, so I had assumed that it was original to that location- I wonder where it came from. It's a double-tiered mystery photo!

Gary, which Sanborn map did you use? The 1937 and 1937-50 online editions only map East Trinity as far as the 400 block.

The 1950 map has an inset in the lower left hand corner that goes further east - I think it was map 43.

This is next door to my grandparents' house (Charlie & Virgie Bass, 503 E Trinity Avenue). That's my grandfather's Buick in the driveway.
